There has been a LOT said about the Holy Trinity in supercars, namely McLaren P1, La Ferrari, and the Porsche 918. It seems strange to me that Koenigsegg isn’t in that comparison at every turn. Christian Von Koenigsegg is a 44 year old engineering savant. His ideas push the limits of a small supercar manufacturer into territories even the big boys haven’t breached. Live GPS on-track suspension and engine tuning? Check. Cutting edge carbon monocoque? Check. The list goes on. The numbers, the performance, all obliterate existing Holy 3 numbers. All this BEFORE the Koenigsegg Regera was even released which, as the first hybrid Koenigsegg, should be the comparison car to the 918 and P1. So if the exiting Koenigsegg One:1 is already beating the numbers, think about the Regera.
